At JPM we’re trusted in the business because we don’t take short cuts when it comes to your equipment. Our standard cylinder reseal service includes; strip and inspect cylinder, linish rod (if not damaged), hone barrel, new seal kit, assemble and test between 100 and 250 bar (depending on application). We don’t allow cylinders to leave the workshop unless they’re 100% to ensure the longevity of your cylinder. Don’t be fooled by others in who claim they’ll reseal cylinders for half the price; because they’ll also do less than half the job and more than likely the cylinder will fail again in no time.
We’re honest with all our customers and keep them informed every step of the way. Upon inspection of the cylinder, we’ll always check to see if there are scores in the barrel and if the rod has any pitting or deep scratches. In these instances, we’ll inform the customer right away so that they can make an informed decision, as generally when the scores in the barrel cannot be heavy honed or there are pitting or deep scratches in the rod, we’ll need to manufacture new ones.
We can manufacture any hydraulic components, therefore if your cylinder is requiring a new gland for example, we can manufacture one and generally save you in cost compared with buying a new cylinder. Get in touch with our professional team to see how we can assist, as we’re always happy help.
Justin Martins decided in 2019 that he wanted to start up his own small business to provide honest prices to customers without compromising the quality and craftsmanship that he truly loves to deliver. This ultimately led us to become a personable business with superior quality – and that sets us apart from the rest.
At JPM Engineering Solutions customers always come first and their happiness with the end product is of the utmost importance. Justin is his own worst critic, and he constantly ensures nothing leaves his workshop without passing quality checks and controls.
